METALS
STEEL
Steel comes in a variety of different looks. Most of the looks have to do with coatings that you apply to the metal.

Mild Steel
Mild steel is nothing fancy. It is not treated to prevent rusting and is great for welding, car repairs, or even decoration.

Tread Plate
Tread plate is a mild steel product with a diamond pattern on the top that gives it added traction. It is untreated against rust and most commonly used on the back of trailers or for ramps.

Galvanized
Galvanized steel is a sheet of mild steel that is coated with zinc to make it rust-resistant. It is mainly used for duct work.

Galvanneal
Galvanneal is a primed sheet of mild steel. This ready-to-paint metal takes all the hard work out of preparing your metal for paint.
STAINLESS STEEL
Stainless steel is an alloy, meaning it's made up of many different kinds of metals. Our stainless is grade 304, a non-magnetic, rust-resistant, food-grade material. We offer stainless in a couple of different finishes.

2B Finish
The 2B finish is not polished and doesn't come with a protective covering to ward off scratches. This is most often used in outdoor applications such as chimney caps.

#4 Finish
The #4 finish, or polished stainless, has a grain to it. It comes with a removable protective covering on one side to protect against scratches. It is most commonly used for backsplashes or countertops.

#8 Finish
The #8 finish is a chrome or mirror finish. It comes with a removable protective covering that protects against scratches.
SPECIALITY METALS
We offer a variety of specialty metals such as copper, tin, brass, and lead.

Tin
Tin is an antiquated metal most commonly used for rustic crafts such as tin punching.

Brass
Brass is a decorative metal, most commonly used for door kick plates.
ALUMINUM
Aluminum comes in different levels of hardness called grades. We mostly keep 3003, but also a small selection of 5052; both are softer, highly formable grades. Our aluminum is excellent for bending and fabricating, as it won't crack when formed. We also offer a variety of colors.

Mill
Mill finish aluminum has no special finish. It does not come with protective paper that wards off scratches. All of the mill aluminum is grade 3003.

Diamond
Aluminum diamond plate has a diamond pattern on one side that gives it some traction. It is mostly used for ramps or trailer flooring.

Anodized
Anodized aluminum has a durable, weather-resistant finish that is offered in a few different colors. Because of its superior finishing characteristics, 5052 aluminum is frequently used grade for this process.

Embossed
Embossed aluminum is a regular mill finish aluminum pressed between two rollers, giving it a textured finish.

Painted
We offer a wide variety of colors. The sheets come with a protective paper that protects against scratches. These sheets are grade 3003.
